This new range marks the evolution of Realme’s number-series smartphones, aiming to deliver flagship-level features to the mid-to-premium segment and take on rivals such as Redmi and Oppo.

16 Pro series will feature two variants, the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, both expected to be revealed during the launch event and shortly available for purchase through Realme’s official online store and Flipkart.
Camera and Display
One of the standout features of both models is the 200-megapixel main camera sensor, a significant enhancement for mobile photography enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the Pro+ variant is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, offering users greater creative flexibility and up to 10x zoom capabilities. Both devices are expected to support 4K video recording.
The series will showcase AMOLED displays with high refresh rates (up to 144 Hz), delivering smooth graphics for multimedia and gaming experiences. Early reviews suggest that the screens are competitive with exceptional brightness and color accuracy.
Performance and Battery
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, designed for balanced performance and efficiency.
The standard Realme 16 Pro 5G is likely to utilize a MediaTek Dimensity-series processor alongside a vapour chamber cooling system. Both devices are expected to operate on Android 16, featuring Realme UI 7.0 with enhanced OS and security support.
Battery life will be another key consideration; both models are anticipated to come with a robust 7,000 mAh Titan battery, equipped with fast-charging capabilities. Besides rapid charging, features like power-saving modes and Bypass Charging will be included.
Price and Variants (Leaked Expectations)
While Realme has yet to announce official pricing, leaks suggest that the Realme 16 Pro 5G might be priced starting around ₹31,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB configuration, with higher storage options reaching up to ₹37,000.
The entry-level 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version of the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to begin at ₹39,999, with the 12GB RAM and 256GB configuration likely to be priced at ₹44,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant may retail for approximately ₹41,999.
Alongside India-exclusive Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple finishes, the series will be available in Master Gold and Master Grey color options. The new Urban Wild design, created in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, will be showcased on these devices.
