Morocco Wins the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 Title with a 3-2 Victory Against Jordan
As the Random Selection Draw ticketing phase reaches its midpoint, the FIFA World Cup 2026 is setting new records with over 150 million ticket requests submitted so far by fans from more than 200 countries.

The results of the current phase that began on Thursday, 11 December 2025 indicate that the FIFA World Cup 2026 is oversubscribed by over 30 times based on verified individual credit card numbers included with each ticket application. This demand is also 3.4 times greater than the total number of spectators who have attended all 964 matches across the 22 editions of the competition since its inception in 1930.

“The FIFA World Cup 2026 is poised to be the most spectacular and inclusive event on the globe, with over 150 million tickets requested within just the first 15 days, making this edition 30 times oversubscribed—an outstanding testament to the incredible enthusiasm from fans across more than 200 nations,” stated FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
“This remarkable reaction from devoted fans showcases the global love for our game—we are on the verge of making history in North America by uniting the world like never before in a celebration of unity and world-class football.”

The world’s premier football event will occur from Thursday, 11 June 2026, to Sunday, 19 July 2026, across 16 Host Cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, featuring 48 teams competing in 104 matches in total.

The Random Selection Draw ticketing phase will remain open until Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET), and the timing of a ticket request within this period does not influence the chances of success. Fans can enter the draw and find comprehensive details at FIFA.com/tickets. After this phase concludes, a draw will be conducted, ensuring equal chances for all fans. Those who do not succeed will have the opportunity to secure their seats during subsequent sales phases as additional tickets become available.

Ticket prices will stay consistent throughout this sales phase. Fans with an existing FIFA ID should log in using their credentials and enter the Random Selection Draw, even if they have previously participated in other ticket draws. New users will need to create an account on FIFA.com/tickets, which is the official and preferred source for tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026™, to get started.

On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, FIFA confirmed that fans will have access to a dedicated ticket pricing tier designed to make attending matches on football’s biggest stage more affordable. The newly introduced Supporter Entry Tier will be available at a fixed price of USD 60 per ticket for each of the 104 matches, including the final.
