She mentioned that groceries usually cost between 3,000 and 5,000 SEK each month (about ₹30,000 to ₹50,000), while public transport expenses hover around 1,000 SEK (roughly ₹10,000). Other monthly costs encompass 300-700 SEK (about ₹3,000 to ₹7,000) for mobile and internet services and 500-1,500 SEK (approximately ₹5,000 to ₹15,000) allocated for utilities.
Overall, she estimated that a single person might spend around 18,000-25,000 SEK (about ₹1.8 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh) monthly, influenced by their location and lifestyle. “People constantly ask me, ‘Is Sweden truly expensive?’ So, here’s a realistic monthly budget!
