MakeMyTrip introduces hotel rewards program offering at least 10% cashback in points.
MakeMyTrip has introduced OneCircle, a hotel rewards programme designed to provide travellers with reward points equivalent to at least 10% of their accommodation expenses on eligible bookings.

These points can be utilized for future stays at over 13,300 hotels, homestays, and villas on the platform, both in India and abroad. As per the company, the programme encompasses 13,376 accommodation properties across 1,002 cities as of June 30, 2026.

The launch occurs as online travel platforms increasingly leverage loyalty programmes to drive repeat bookings and enhance customer retention in the highly competitive travel industry.
Unlike conventional hotel loyalty programmes that are usually confined to a single hotel chain, OneCircle permits customers to accumulate and use reward points across various participating accommodation partners on MakeMyTrip’s platform.
The company reported that the network consists of 12,330 properties located in 868 Indian cities, along with 1,046 properties in 134 destinations across 39 countries. Notably, approximately three-fourths of the participating properties are situated in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

MakeMyTrip explained that properties were selected based on customer ratings, evaluations by its supply team, and the willingness of accommodation providers to join the programme.

For accommodation providers, the programme aims to foster repeat bookings by enabling customers to redeem rewards across different participating properties instead of being restricted to a single hotel brand.

Rajesh Magow, Executive Director and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip, stated that the company strives to deliver a more straightforward rewards programme to customers while assisting accommodation partners in attracting repeat clientele.

The programme has been launched in phases and has experienced promising early uptake, although specific booking or redemption figures were not disclosed.

This launch adds a loyalty programme to MakeMyTrip’s offerings, which include the MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and redBus platforms, as online travel companies increasingly aim to utilize rewards and membership programmes to enhance customer loyalty.
