Riyadh Air Begins Daily Nonstop Service from Riyadh to Mumbai Starting August 4

Star Air announces monsoon promotion with one-way tickets starting at ₹1,799.
Riyadh Air, based in Saudi Arabia, announced on July 6 its debut in India with the introduction of a daily direct flight between Riyadh and Mumbai, set to commence on August 4.

The premium airline, supported by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), revealed that bookings for the daily service will begin on July 6.

This new daily air service from Mumbai to Riyadh will be operated using a Boeing B787-9 aircraft, featuring a four-class configuration—business elite, business, premium economy, and economy.
This latest route is an important enhancement to Riyadh Air’s expanding network, which now includes nine destinations, with more to be unveiled in the near future. The airline emphasized that this expansion solidifies its mission to connect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with major global and regional hubs.
“Recognizing India as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally, we are pleased to offer travelers a new premium option and improved global connectivity from Mumbai to Riyadh, and beyond to Europe,” stated Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air.

Established in March 2023, Riyadh Air aims to connect its flight network to over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030.

The Mumbai-Riyadh route will provide onward connectivity to Europe and the Middle East, serving both business and leisure travelers from India, according to the airline.

This inaugural flight from India reflects Riyadh Air’s commitment to one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets.

The route addresses the significant Indian demand for both business and leisure travel to Saudi Arabia and Europe, while also catering to expatriate communities seeking new travel options back to India.

Furthermore, the new service positions Riyadh as a pivotal transport hub, providing convenient onward connections for passengers traveling from Mumbai to global destinations, including London and Madrid, as well as regional cities like Jeddah and Cairo, the airline noted.
