This initiative, launched in collaboration with Collinson International, will grant selected Paisabazaar users access to over 1,800 airport lounges and travel experiences across 800+ airports around the globe via the LoungeKey network.
The launch occurs at a time when travel-related rewards are highly valued among credit card users in India, even as many banks have tightened their complimentary lounge access policies by imposing spending thresholds and eligibility criteria.
Under this new initiative, customers who pay their credit card bills through the Paisabazaar app will have a chance to win complimentary lounge access via a monthly “Spin the Wheel” contest. Additionally, users who apply for a new credit card through Paisabazaar will receive guaranteed access after activating the card and completing their first bill payment via the platform.
PB Pass will implement a QR code-based system, eliminating the need for extra memberships or registrations, according to the company.
Santosh Agarwal, CEO of Paisabazaar, stated that the initiative aims to enhance customer engagement beyond mere product acquisition.
Collinson International, which manages LoungeKey and Priority Pass, remarked that the demand for travel and airport experience benefits is rising among Indian consumers.
“Travel demand in India continues to gain strong momentum, with consumers increasingly valuing travel-focused benefits like airport lounge access,” said Rom Remy, Managing Director for South and Southeast Asia at Collinson International.
Access to airport lounges has emerged as a key differentiator in the competitive credit card landscape in India, particularly after various banks revised their complimentary access policies in the last two years due to increasing usage costs.
Paisabazaar, part of the publicly listed PB Fintech, indicated that this program complements existing travel benefits found on credit cards while streamlining access through a single digital platform.
