US Visa Denied for World Cup Viewing? Argentine Company Offers Free TV Access!
Numerous Argentines who faced visa rejections to travel to the United States for the World Cup will receive a complimentary television to enjoy the matches.

The Argentine company Newsan has vowed to distribute local brand Noblex televisions to the first 100 individuals who queued up on Wednesday (June 10) outside its Buenos Aires office, presenting documentation confirming their visa denials between January and June of this year for U.S. travel.

“Present your denied visa and claim a free TV,” read an advertisement on Instagram.
Among the fortunate recipients was Tomas Vageller, a 24-year-old professional gamer.

“I applied for a visa because we all believe it might be Messi’s final World Cup,” he remarked. “It’s really disappointing not to be able to witness it, but at least I’m leaving with a gift.”

In Argentina, a three-time World Cup champion, soccer enthusiasm appears to be somewhat subdued just days before the start of the 2026 World Cup in North America – far less intense than it was in 2022, when many viewed that tournament as Argentina’s final chance to seize victory under Lionel Messi’s guidance.
