Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro+ will be launched in India on June 4. The announcement came via a teaser released on X. The latest model will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Motorola’s official site, and various offline retail outlets nationwide.

Colour options and design
The smartphone will launch in three Pantone-curated color variants: satin-luxe, sculpted wood-inspired, and twill-textured designs.
The Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to carry forward Motorola’s well-known design aesthetics, including a centrally located logo and a square-shaped camera module at the top-left corner on the back. Reports suggest the smartphone may weigh around 190 grams.
Camera details
Motorola has verified that the Edge 70 Pro+ will come equipped with a triple rear camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-710 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
Additionally, the handset will sport a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, capable of achieving up to 50x digital zoom through Motorola’s AI Super Zoom Pro technology.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is anticipated to have a 50-megapixel front camera.
Expected specifications
Leaked information indicates that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ could be a rebranded version of the Edge 70 Pro launched in international markets earlier this year.
If the rumors hold true, the phone may feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 5,200 nits.
The device is also expected to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, reportedly capable of withstanding underwater depths of up to 1.5 meters for approximately 30 minutes.
Under the hood, the smartphone is projected to operate on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset and offer LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Moreover, the Edge 70 Pro+ may come with a dedicated AI Key, akin to the multifunction buttons seen in devices from brands like OnePlus, Nothing, and Oppo.
Battery and charging
The smartphone is expected to house a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Expected price
While Motorola has yet to disclose the official price for the Edge 70 Pro+, it is anticipated to be the premium model in the Edge 70 series, likely to be priced under ₹50,000 in India.
