IndiGo has scheduled 10 special relief flights from Jeddah to India on March 3, pending regulatory approvals and current airspace conditions. The airline is working closely with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah to assist stranded travelers and ensure organized transportation.
Simultaneously, SpiceJet will run four special flights from the United Arab Emirates on March 3 to aid the return of Indian nationals following the unexpected closure of airspace. These flights will operate from Fujairah to Delhi, Mumbai, and Kochi, including two flights to Mumbai, to expedite the repatriation process for passengers.
Starting March 4, SpiceJet will also resume its regular services between Fujairah–Delhi and Fujairah–Mumbai, which will help restore connectivity between the UAE and India. The airline is considering the possibility of adding more special flights based on passenger demand and regulatory approvals.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that it is actively monitoring the changing airspace situation and its effects on international operations.
Indian carriers have implemented measured schedule adjustments, with long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights progressively resuming through alternative routes that bypass restricted airspace. Aircraft and crew repositioning efforts are also in progress to regain operational stability.
Airlines are deploying extra capacity as needed and collaborating with foreign aviation authorities and Indian missions abroad to ensure safe and orderly passenger transport.
