On Sunday (March 1), over 20 flights arriving and departing from Ahmedabad to various West Asian destinations were cancelled due to the ongoing US-Israel military actions against Iran, officials reported.

Many passengers from Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and other regions of Gujarat are currently stranded at airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Arabia, stated an MP and an MLA.

An official confirmed that flights from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) in Ahmedabad to destinations such as Dubai, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Doha, Baghdad, and Sharjah were cancelled alongside arrival flights.
Passengers have been notified about the cancellations, and the airport is not experiencing a high volume of traffic.

The SVPIA also released an advisory urging travelers to verify the latest flight statuses with their airlines before heading to the airport and to plan their trips accordingly.
