Wipro Ltd, a leading IT services firm, announced a strategic alliance with Kongsberg Digital on Friday (April 24) to implement cutting-edge AI-driven digital twin solutions for the energy and utilities sector.

This collaboration merges Wipro’s consulting-oriented strategy and its AI-enhanced Wipro Intelligence solutions—Industrial-AssetsAI and UpstreamAI—with Kongsberg Digital’s Industrial Work Surface solution. The goal of this joint offering is to facilitate more dependable, efficient, and safer operations within intricate asset networks.


Together, Wipro and Kongsberg Digital will provide companies with a cohesive environment that integrates physics-based engineering models, real-time operations, and enterprise AI.

Once implemented, the joint solution will act as a digital twin that mirrors real-time conditions across plants, grids, and distributed assets. By unifying simulation, data, AI, and automation within a single framework, Wipro and Kongsberg Digital will assist companies in simplifying digital transformation and enhancing operational resilience.

Under this agreement, Wipro and Kongsberg Digital will pursue a collaborative roadmap to enhance AI-powered digital twin capabilities across Energy & Utilities sectors, assisting asset-intensive organizations in accelerating innovation, bolstering operational resilience, and achieving lasting improvements in performance, safety, and sustainability.”

Wipro Ltd shares concluded at ₹199.55, down ₹3.40, or 1.68%, on the BSE.
