Techno Paints and Chemicals aims to raise ₹500 crore through an IPO in the upcoming financial year, according to company sources reported on Saturday (January 10).

Sachin Tendulkar has been named the brand ambassador for the paint manufacturer for a duration of three years, which is anticipated to assist the company in expanding its reach across the nation.

With the inclusion of the ‘Master Blaster,’ the paint manufacturer stated in a press release that it intends to bolster its presence nationwide.
“We are privileged to partner with one of the world’s most legendary cricketers and a Bharat Ratna, Sachin Tendulkar. We look forward to achieving significant milestones this year with our expansion and the IPO, and no one could better represent us as an ambassador and growth partner,” commented Akuri Srinivas Reddy, Chairman of Techno Paints and Chemicals.

Previously in 2023, the company announced film actor Mahesh Babu as its brand ambassador, a role he held for two years.

In the financial year 2024-25, the company reported revenues of ₹210 crore, with expectations of ₹450 crore for the current financial year. Reddy noted that the target is to reach ₹2,000 crore in revenue by 2029-30.

Techno Paints specializes in decorative, industrial, and specialty paints, boasting a portfolio of over 3,000 shades of decorative paints. The company currently serves Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Odisha, and Chandigarh.

Plans are in place to expand into Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh by this year’s end, with aspirations to enter the Middle East by 2026-27, as stated in the release.
