Seniors shine on the catwalk at Legacy’s annual fashion event in South Jordan

It’s showtime at the Legacy Retirement facility in South Jordan for their 20th annual Legacy Fashion Show. The models here are beautiful, as they show off their summer fashions in front of family and friends. The staff here at Legacy took all the models shopping so they could pick out their own outfits for today’s big show. The models were stunning as they took to the stage for today’s event.

Dave Egbert is the Vice President of Senior Living here at Legacy and he says the fashion show is just one of many coordinated events for those who live at the facility.

“This is a great event. These seniors still have so much to contribute, they are full of life and still have so much to give. It’s a way for them to look back,” Egbert says. “Like many of us.we were all into fashion when we were younger. It still holds true todaysome of them may have been cheerleaders or fashion may have defined their professional lives and careers, this is a way for them to celebrate that beauty with family, friends, and staff here at legacy.”

Connie was a beautiful “lady in red” as she moved down the catwalk, but it wasn’t all about the gala. Terry was all set for summer as he was escorted down the stage by his beautiful daughter.

We can’t forget Reen and her adorable side kick Zoe.who stunned the crowd with a beautiful necklace. Helen was also a crowd favorite with her beautiful summer outfit with a Native American flair. Helen says, “It was so much fun, but I was a little nervous. I don’t use a walker or a cane, but I did itmy kids will be very proud of me.”

Next up for the Legacy youngsters..an August car show for the guys. We can’t wait to see those classic seniors and those classic cars.
