England requires 190 more runs to clinch victory in the first Test, thanks to their openers Ben Duckett (105 not out) and Zak Crawley (59 not out), who have established a solid foundation against the Indian bowling attack.

Rain interrupted play during the second session on the fifth and final day of the opening Test between India and England, with the hosts at 181 without loss in their chase for 371.
England needs another 190 runs to secure the first Test as openers Ben Duckett (105 not out) and Zak Crawley (59 not out) have laid a strong foundation against the Indian bowlers.
Duckett capitalized on a reprieve when Yashasvi Jaiswal dropped him on 98, failing to hold onto the ball while diving forward as Duckett mishit a short delivery from Mohammed Siraj.
In the first session, Crawley also received a lifeline when Jasprit Bumrah could not grab a challenging return catch during his follow-through.
So far, Duckett has hit 13 fours, while Crawley, more restrained, has scored 57 off 119 balls, including six fours.
