Rail Vikas Nigam's Q4 net profit drops 59%, while revenue increases; announces ₹0.71 dividend.
Navratna PSU under the Railway Ministry, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), reported a consolidated net profit decline of 58.9% year-on-year for the fourth quarter of FY26, amounting to ₹187.1 crore, down from ₹455.4 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue saw a rise of 4.2% year-on-year to ₹6,696 crore, compared to ₹6,427.1 crore previously. EBITDA experienced a drop of 38.4%, falling to ₹268.5 crore from ₹436.1 crore a year earlier. The EBITDA margin decreased by nearly 300 bps, settling at 4% compared to 6.8% in the same quarter last year.

The company has proposed a final dividend of ₹0.71 per equity share with a face value of ₹10 each for FY26, pending approval from shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting. The dividend is set to be distributed within 30 days following the declaration at the AGM.

Additionally, the company announced the closure of its joint venture entity, Kyrgyzindustry–RVNL CJSC, located in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia.

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd closed at ₹272.55 today, May 25, reflecting an increase of ₹1.40, or 0.52%, on the BSE.
