Chopra, 27, experienced a season of highs and lows. He surpassed the 90-metre mark at the Doha Diamond League but faced fitness challenges throughout the year, impacting his World Championships performance, where he finished eighth and could not defend his title.
Despite these challenges, Chopra achieved a personal milestone by hosting and winning a javelin throw event in Bengaluru named after him.
At the beginning of the season, the star enlisted a new coach, Czech legend Jan Zelezny, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and the holder of the javelin throw world record with a throw of 98.48m.
