The company has set up four units near boarding gates 9 and 10, providing passengers with access to enclosed spaces designed for short-duration work or private calls while in transit. The pods serve as an alternative way to utilize airport waiting time, especially for travelers seeking a quieter atmosphere for meetings, calls, or concentrated work.
Users can access the units via a QR-code-based booking system, enabling them to reserve a pod at the airport or schedule sessions in advance. Currently, the service is priced at ₹299 for 30 minutes and is being introduced on a trial basis.
Each unit features seating, lighting, charging ports, ventilation, and acoustically treated interiors, according to the company.
MioPods.Space founder Vikas Sethia stated that the concept aims to address the growing intersection of work and travel, where passengers often require functional spaces to remain connected while in transit.
The company has expressed interest in expanding to other major airports, including those in Delhi and Mumbai, after the initial launch in Hyderabad.
