Neville urges Manchester United to stop experimenting with managerial positions following Amorim’s departure.

Manchester United's coaching carousel persists following Amorim's dismissal.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has urged the club to cease its experimentation with management and appoint a leader who aligns with their traditional playing philosophy following the sacking of Ruben Amorim on Monday.

United announced that former midfielder Darren Fletcher will step in as caretaker for the Premier League match against Burnley on Wednesday, while the search for a long-term replacement is underway.

“The experiments need to end,” Neville stated to Sky Sports.
“I’ve always taken pride in what this club represents – adventurous, exciting football, nurturing young talent, and providing entertainment for the fans.
“They have to be bold and have the bravery to embrace attacking, aggressive football.”

Amorim, the 10th manager – whether permanent or interim – since Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, faced backlash for his inflexible 3-4-3 setup and his public remarks about the squad, including calling them “perhaps the worst in the club’s history” last year.

“Barcelona will never change for anyone,” Neville remarked.

“I don’t believe United should adapt for anyone.

“The club needs to secure a manager who possesses experience and is committed to playing quick, exciting, attacking football.”

Currently, United is sixth in the league after 20 matches, trailing leaders Arsenal by 17 points.
