Mumbai Metro Line 3 operations return to regular schedule following a short technical issue at Siddhivinayak.

Operations on Mumbai Metro’s Line 3 (Aqua Line) resumed normal service on Tuesday, November 25, following a minor disruption due to a technical issue with a train at Siddhivinayak station.

The situation caused a halt of 10 minutes, after which the problem was fixed.

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) stated, “All services are functioning smoothly and in accordance with the scheduled timetable. Operations across the line are back to normal. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.”

Previously, the corporation indicated, “Due to a technical issue in one train at Siddhivinayak station, services were momentarily halted for about 10 minutes… trains are currently experiencing delays of approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Our teams are carefully monitoring operations, and normal service is anticipated to resume soon.”

This marks the second technical issue on the corridor in recent months. In early October, just days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to inaugurate the final segment of the Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ Metro-3 corridor, a train had stalled near Santacruz due to a technical malfunction.
