The new version, Myra 2.0, enables users to search, choose, pay for, and confirm bookings via text or voice commands. According to the company, the assistant is capable of handling complex travel inquiries, including hotel specifications such as accessibility options, room layouts, and dietary requirements, as well as intricate international travel itineraries.
In one instance highlighted by the company, users can input multi-leg travel plans and obtain details regarding transit visa requirements, specific documentation for passengers, and booking alternatives all within the same conversation.
The assistant is also capable of processing image and document uploads, including passport data extraction for automatic filling of traveler information, and allows users to inquire about specific options during the booking process without the need to restart the search.

MakeMyTrip reported that Myra manages approximately three million conversations each quarter, with around 45% of interactions originating from tier-2 and smaller cities. The company noted that users engaging with the assistant exhibit greater conversion rates compared to traditional filter-based booking systems.
Voice interaction is more prevalent in non-metro areas, with most voice queries being recorded in Hinglish. These interactions are generally longer and more detailed than typed searches.
The rollout of Myra 2.0 is currently in progress, as stated by the company.
