IndiGo Enhances Puducherry Connectivity with 14 Weekly Flights
IndiGo has enhanced its services in neighboring Puducherry, operating 14 flights a week to improve regional connectivity, the airline announced on Saturday, January 3.

This enhanced air connectivity has aided Puducherry’s growth across various sectors. Better access to Bengaluru and Hyderabad allows residents to travel more efficiently for specialized healthcare and higher education, IndiGo stated.

The airline began operations from Puducherry on December 20, 2024, marking one year of service for the Union Territory. As of December 2025, it operates 14 flights weekly from Puducherry, connecting the city with Bengaluru and Hyderabad, according to a press release issued on Saturday.

The air service has also facilitated onward connectivity for passengers traveling from Puducherry to destinations across India and overseas, it mentioned.

Over the past year, IndiGo’s services have ensured regular and reliable air connectivity from Puducherry, meeting travel demands in a region previously underserved by scheduled air services.

The introduction of consistent commercial flights has enhanced accessibility and made air travel easier for residents, students, professionals, and tourists, the release noted.
