As per the advisory, Indian travelers must possess a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months from their date of arrival. They are encouraged to have confirmed return tickets, hotel reservations, and a detailed travel itinerary.
The Embassy has also reminded travelers to fill out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours prior to their arrival in Thailand.
Furthermore, the advisory indicates that visitors should obtain the appropriate visa based on their travel purpose.
Tourists utilizing the visa waiver or Visa on Arrival (VOA) option are advised to carry a minimum of 20,000 Thai Baht (THB) (approximately ₹57,467 at today’s exchange rate) in cash per traveler.
To avoid immigration delays, travelers should have all required documents easily accessible when reaching the immigration counter. Those traveling in groups should ensure each person carries their own set of documents.
The Embassy has also advised individuals who have received a job offer in Thailand not to utilize the visa waiver or Visa on Arrival option but to apply for the appropriate employment visa instead.
For passengers transiting through Thailand, the advisory recommends carrying all pertinent documents, including the required visa, for their final destination.
