Hyundai Motor secures ICC Premier Partner agreement for six men's and women's events.
Hyundai Motor Company has entered into a global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC), officially becoming a Premier Partner for six major ICC tournaments set for 2026 and 2027.

As part of this agreement, Hyundai Motor will gain exclusive commercial rights throughout the ICC’s international tournament calendar, which includes the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. These rights allow for participation in key matchday moments such as the coin toss, in-stadium branding, and tailored fan engagement initiatives.

Hyundai Motor’s international subsidiaries will work together to leverage the partnership for brand-building activities and to enhance fan experiences across various markets.
José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, remarked, “We are thrilled to partner with the ICC and connect with over two billion enthusiastic fans globally. In key markets like India, where cricket is integral to life, this partnership strengthens our bond with customers and communities that inspire everything we do.”

ICC Chairman Jay Shah noted that the partnership would boost fan engagement during significant events. “Cricket ranks among the world’s most beloved sports, with over two billion fans whose enthusiasm is particularly apparent during ICC’s major events… We are pleased to welcome Hyundai as a Premier Partner and look forward to creating exceptional events together,” he stated.

This agreement signifies Hyundai Motor’s return to ICC events after its previous partnership with the governing body from 2011 to 2015. Attendees at ICC tournaments can expect to see Hyundai-branded interactive fan zones, vehicle displays, and digital engagement initiatives across various venues.

The partnership encompasses ICC tournaments across different formats and hosted in key cricket-playing nations, emphasizing Hyundai Motor’s commitment to cricket as a vital aspect of its global sports engagement strategy.

The partnership was announced during a ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium, which was attended by senior representatives from both Hyundai Motor and the ICC.
