Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) announced on Thursday, January 15, a 19% increase in booking value year-on-year, reaching ₹34,171 crore for the calendar year 2025. This achievement solidifies its status as India’s largest publicly listed residential real estate developer for the second year in a row, driven by robust sales and collections.
The firm recorded cash collections of ₹18,979 crore for the year, marking a 28% rise compared to the previous year. Between calendar years 2022 and 2025, Godrej Properties experienced a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 44% in booking value and 35% in collections, as noted in the exchange release.
Sales were well-distributed geographically, with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region leading at ₹9,677 crore, followed by the National Capital Region at ₹9,348 crore, Bengaluru at ₹6,566 crore, Pune at ₹4,083 crore, and Hyderabad at ₹3,052 crore. The growth was supported by a diverse project portfolio, with 11 individual projects each contributing over ₹1,000 crore in booking value for the year.
So far in the current financial year, Godrej Properties has maintained its momentum. For FY26 year-to-date, the company reported a booking value of ₹24,008 crore, a 25% increase year-on-year, and collections of ₹12,018 crore, reflecting a 19% rise. In the December quarter (Q3FY26), the booking value jumped 55% year-on-year to ₹8,421 crore, while collections increased by 40% to ₹4,282 crore.
Commenting on the strong performance, Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, noted that the growth highlights enduring demand for high-quality homes in major metropolitan areas across India. “Achieving this level of growth in 2025, even with 2024 being a high base year, demonstrates the robustness of our portfolio and execution. We remain committed to enhancing this momentum through excellence in design, construction quality, timely delivery, sustainability, and innovation,” he stated.
Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd closed lower on Wednesday, January 14, declining by 0.37% to ₹1,871.80 on the NSE.
