1. Yoga Sangam:
The flagship event for this year’s International Yoga Day features mass yoga sessions planned to take place at over one lakh locations throughout India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the central session from Visakhapatnam. Yoga Sangam is accessible to everyone, and locations hosting these sessions should be available in your area. 2. Tourist Destinations: The Union Ministry of Culture will organise yoga sessions at 100 iconic “tourist-based” destinations and 50 additional cultural sites across India on June 21 for IDY 2025. Some UNESCO World Heritage sites will serve as venues for these events; notable locations include Charaideo Maidam (Assam), Hampi and Pattadakal (Karnataka), Rani Ki Vav & Dholavira (Gujarat), Khajuraho Group of Monuments and Sanchi Stupa (Madhya Pradesh), and the Konark Sun Temple (Odisha).
3. Indian Council Of Cultural Relations: Individuals of Indian origin living abroad can mark IDY 2025 by taking part in events organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the cultural branch of India’s Ministry of External Affairs. According to an official statement referenced by news agency PTI, ICCR plans to host around 2,000 events at 1,300 locations across 191 countries. 4. Yoga Parks: This initiative transforms public parks in rural Panchayats and urban municipalities into yoga zones, where trained instructors lead sessions. Informative displays will also be available to aid self-guided practice.

5. Yoga Samavesh: Recognizing that health needs differ among various population segments, this initiative offers tailored yoga modules for children, adolescents, pregnant women, senior citizens, and those with health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and mental health challenges.
6. Yoga Prabhav: This research-focused initiative examines the progress made over a decade since 2014. Findings were previously presented on June 14 during Yoga Connect, a global summit that gathered top yoga experts from around the world.
7. Yoga Unplugged: With a significant portion of the Indian population under or around 30 years old, promoting this practice among young people is vital. Yoga Unplugged merges traditional practices with modern approaches. This initiative includes youth festivals, workshops, and social media campaigns to ignite interest in yoga.
