According to DMRC, the closed stations will remain inaccessible from 7:30 am until further notice. Passengers won’t be able to enter or exit these stations, but interchange services will still be operational at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat.
DMRC has also implemented changes on the Airport Express Line, with services running solely between Dhaula Kuan and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.
As per DMRC’s announcement, the 18 metro stations that are closed until further notice include Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhambha Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, Shivaji Stadium, Jhandewalan, and New Delhi.

Following weeks of protests, CJP representatives Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das met with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh for discussions. During the meeting, CJP demanded ₹1 crore as compensation for families of those who committed suicide following the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The party reiterated that the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan is non-negotiable.
The meeting, held at Vithalbhai Patel House, spanned approximately two hours. After the discussions, government officials stated they would take 24 hours to determine further actions.
