CSK Falls to Lowest Score in IPL 2026 – See How Many Runs RR Requires to Secure Victory
Chennai Super Kings were dismissed for just 127 runs against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, marking the lowest score by any team in IPL 2026 to date.

RR showcased a strong bowling performance, with Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, and Ravindra Jadeja each claiming two wickets.

Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who opened the batting for CSK, both fell for only six runs. Ayush Mhatre, batting at No. 3, failed to score. Sarfaraz Khan and Kartik Sharma managed to contribute 35 runs, but their partnership was eventually broken by Jadeja and Brijesh Sharma, respectively.
Jadeja, a key player for CSK prior to his trade for Samson, captured another crucial wicket, dismissing Shivam Dube, while Jamie Overton performed admirably with the bat lower down the order.

Overton faced 36 balls to score 43 runs, hitting a couple of fours and sixes.

Sandeep, Brijesh, and Ravi Bishnoi also chipped in with one wicket each.

Brief Scores: Chennai Super Kings: 127 all out in 19.4 overs (Jamie Overton 43; Jofra Archer 2/19, Nandre Burger 2/27, Ravindra Jadeja 2/18.)
