This roster also features Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
“We have assembled a robust team of campaigners, comprising national figures, to ensure the party stays competitive in the elections,” a Congress official remarked.
“This time, we are contesting the Bengal assembly elections independently, and all our senior leaders will be actively campaigning. The goal is to connect with voters across constituencies in the initial phase,” he conveyed to PTI.
The elections for the 294-member West Bengal assembly are scheduled for two phases – on April 23 and April 29. Counting of votes will take place on May 4.

In addition to the central leadership, West Bengal Congress members, such as Deepa Dasmunsi, Pradip Bhattacharya, state unit chief Subhankar Sarkar, MP Isha Khan Choudhury, and senior leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, have been included in the list.
The lineup also features numerous Congress leaders from outside the state, with notable names like K C Venugopal, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Ashok Gehlot, Salman Khurshid, Shashi Tharoor, Gaurav Gogoi, K L Sharma, Sudeep Roy Barman, Kanhaiya Kumar, and Mohammad Azharuddin.
