Australian fashion week 2025: highlights – in pictures

While several labels have anniversaries this year, the event itself celebrates a milestone. After losing previous organiser IMG, the Australian Fashion Council relaunches it with new CEO, Kellie Hush

This year Carla Zampatti opened Australian fashion week with an outdoor runway in front of Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Alongside a collection from new creative director, Tanya Emon, for the label’s 60th anniversary, it presented 12 garments designed in collaboration with local talent including Michael Lo Sordo.
