On the domestic side, cancellations affect AI874 from Pune to Delhi, AI456 from Ahmedabad to Delhi, AI2872 from Hyderabad to Mumbai, and AI571 from Chennai to Mumbai.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our passengers. Our ground staff is working to arrange alternative travel options for them to reach their destinations as soon as possible,” the airline stated.

Passengers whose flights have been cancelled have been offered full refunds or the choice of rescheduling at no extra cost, according to the carrier.
Air India noted the potential for additional disruptions, highlighting “ongoing enhanced inspections on our aircraft, airspace restrictions, and adverse weather conditions.” The airline has advised travelers to check their flight status through official channels. “Passengers are encouraged to confirm the latest details before heading to the airport to avoid unforeseen delays,” a statement from the airline read.
In light of the Ahmedabad London plane crash, which resulted in over 250 fatalities last week, some of the carrier’s Boeing planes are undergoing rigorous safety inspections.
