“After conducting a thorough safety assessment and analyzing the current situation in the Middle East, Akasa Air is gradually reinstating selected services in the region,” the airline stated in a travel advisory on X.

The airline noted that the operation of these flights relies on current conditions and ongoing safety evaluations, which are subject to change.
Flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Kuwait will remain suspended until March 21.
Akasa Air has extended the waiver policy for cancellation or rescheduling fees for all passengers booking to or from these cities until March 31.
“Passengers can choose between a full refund credited back to the original payment method within seven days or rescheduling their travel without any extra cost,” it added.
Customers who booked through travel partners should reach out to them for further assistance.
Akasa Air is actively monitoring the situation in West Asia with regards to these destinations in real-time. Any updates on flight statuses will be communicated to passengers promptly.

On March 18, Air India and Air India Express are operating a combined total of 50 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region.
Both airlines continued their scheduled services to and from Jeddah and Muscat, including 14 flights connecting India and Jeddah.
