UniX AI has labeled Panther as the “world’s first robot genuinely operating in real home environments.” A video shared on YouTube demonstrates the robot beginning its day by opening curtains and helping to wake up a resident.
Next, it handles tasks such as making the bed and managing various household appliances. From operating a blender to preparing breakfast, Panther takes on activities generally performed by people.
The video further illustrates it serving meals, preparing a salad, and continuing with chores like cleaning, washing clothes, and tidying up the house after the resident departs for work.

What powers Panther
According to information provided by the company on its official site, Panther is a full-sized humanoid robot designed to operate in various household environments. Its height can be adjusted from 800 mm to 1600 mm.
Boasting 34 DoF (Degrees of Freedom) joints, Panther is sufficiently flexible to perform complex movements. It operates via a high-voltage system, enabling it to undertake “complex tasks in confined and diverse scenarios.”
The robot’s perception system features cameras and optional 3D LiDAR for navigation, while voice interaction is facilitated through speakers and a multi-microphone setup. Panther is also equipped with bionic arms that can lift up to 12 kg, paired with a chassis that allows smooth movement in all directions. It offers a battery life of up to 6-12 hours.
