Blue Origin Launches First 2026 New Shepard Mission with 6 Passengers: Crew Information and Ticket Pricing
Blue Origin has successfully launched its latest group of passengers to the edge of space aboard the New Shepard rocket. Founded by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, the aerospace company celebrated the 38th flight of the New Shepard program, marking the first spaceflight of 2026.

The mission transported six individuals on a brief suborbital journey from the company’s West Texas launch site. New Shepard mission NS-38 took off on Thursday, January 22, at around 9:55 pm IST, following a minor delay.

During the 11-minute flight, the crew enjoyed several minutes of weightlessness and had the opportunity to view Earth from space before safely returning to the Texas desert.
With this mission, Blue Origin has now sent 98 people to space over 17 human spaceflights, including 92 unique individuals, with six passengers having participated in two flights.

The company’s inaugural crewed mission launched on July 20, 2021, coinciding with the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
