President Donald Trump Claims Millions Have Been Reduced from Federal Workforce Payroll
On Tuesday, January 20, US President Donald Trump announced that his administration has significantly reduced the federal payroll, stating that millions of federal employees have been let go.

The president spoke at a White House press briefing to commemorate the first anniversary of his second term.

Scott Kupor, the director of the US Office of Personnel Management, mentioned last September that by the end of 2025, there would be approximately 300,000 fewer federal employees on the payroll across the nation.
