Stay committed in the battle against TMC; we will succeed in next year's elections: PM Modi advises West Bengal BJP MPs.
On Wednesday, December 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged BJP MPs from West Bengal to effectively challenge the government led by the Trinamool Congress and strive to secure victory in the upcoming assembly elections.

During a meeting, the BJP MPs from West Bengal were joined by Khagen Murmu, the Lok Sabha representative from Maldah Uttar, who faced an attack by a mob in October.

Modi inquired about Murmu’s condition and advised the BJP members to oppose the West Bengal government to uphold democracy in the region.
“The prime minister instructed us to keep opposing the West Bengal government to protect democracy. We aim to oust this government. He emphasized that we must win these elections, and we will succeed,” Sukanta Majumdar, the president of the West Bengal BJP, informed reporters after the meeting.

Darjeeling MP Raju Bista mentioned that the prime minister acknowledged the commitment and relentless efforts of BJP workers in West Bengal, underscoring their vital role in connecting with the public and supporting the community in challenging times.

“He encouraged us to pursue our positive initiatives with renewed energy and to take additional steps in reaching out to every individual across the state,” Bista stated in a post on X.

The BJP is preparing for the elections in West Bengal next year, following the significant victory of the BJP-JD(U) alliance in Bihar.
