West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticized the ED’s actions, targeting Home Minister Amit Shah and labeling him a “nasty and naughty” home minister.
“Is it the responsibility of the ED, Amit Shah, to seize the party’s hard disk and candidate list?” Mamata asked.
“The nasty, naughty Home Minister who fails to safeguard the country is confiscating all my party’s documents. What would happen if I raided the BJP party office? Meanwhile, they are purging the names of voters by conducting the SIR in West Bengal… Due to the elections, they are gathering all the information about my party…” she continued.
