International technology firms and startups unveil groundbreaking advancements in AI and robotics at CES 2026.
Revolutionary advancements in AI, robotics, mobility, and health technology that are transforming the way people live, work, and connect will take the spotlight as leading global corporations and startups converge for the largest technology event in the world.

CES 2026, the foremost technology event organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), will commence on Tuesday and continue until January 9.

This event will unite global enterprises, startups, industry leaders, and government representatives to “experience the next wave of technology that addresses global challenges.”
Vice President and Show Director of CES, John Kelley, shared with a gathering of international reporters that CES serves as a platform “where innovation is not only announced but is also tested, debated, challenged, discussed, and propelled forward. It’s where startups collaborate with global brands, and where policy meets potential.”

Kelley emphasized that CES 2026 will highlight “innovations that transform how we live, work, move, and connect.” Gary Shapiro, Executive Chair and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, remarked that CES week “is about turning ideas into reality.”

“CES 2026 is the venue where innovators converge – to network, form partnerships, and engage in business at a global level…This is a thrilling era for innovation, and CES 2026 will showcase the cutting-edge technology in AI, robotics, digital health, mobility, enterprise solutions, energy, immersive entertainment, accessibility, and more,” said CTA President Kinsey Fabrizio, noting that this year’s CES is focused on momentum across industries and borders.

Prominent tech giants such as AMD, BMW, John Deere, Lenovo, LG, Qualcomm, Samsung, alongside startups from around the globe, will present their innovative technologies and solutions.

Thousands of innovators and firms will featured their offerings in categories including “artificial intelligence, robotics, health and immersive entertainment, mobility and manufacturing, enterprise and energy, and many other exciting technological fields,” she stated, adding that “we witness AI transforming every industry.”

“This year, attendees will see that companies are not merely showcasing products; they are also illustrating how technology addresses real-world challenges,” Fabrizio added.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association, CES encompasses all facets of the tech industry.

As the largest technology trade association in North America, CTA includes members who are the world’s foremost innovators – from startups to established brands – supporting over 18 million jobs in the American economy, according to a statement from CTA. The association has also initiated a partnership program with investors to facilitate connections with startups at this year’s CES.

In response to concerns regarding current geopolitical tensions globally, including between the US and China as well as tariffs enacted during the Trump administration, Shapiro stated that tariffs are detrimental to global trade and corporate relationships.

“We have advocated against them with our government, including at the Supreme Court,” he noted.

Shapiro expressed gratitude that President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are communicating and “cooling down tariffs.”

The US and China represent two of the largest and most vital economies worldwide, and he added that it is essential for both nations and the global community “to foster harmonious relations.” The US Consumer Technology Industry Forecast report by CTA predicts that despite tariff pressures and economic uncertainties impacting the business landscape, the industry will generate $565 billion in revenue by 2026, reflecting a year-over-year growth of 3.7%.

This outlook highlights the industry’s resilience at a crucial time, as businesses navigate economic challenges, shifting supply chains, and heightened consumer spending pressures.

Shapiro mentioned that “even with escalating tariffs and broader economic challenges, Americans continue to invest in technology that boosts productivity, connectivity, and overall quality of life.

However, the effects of economic uncertainty are becoming increasingly apparent as companies work through pre-tariff inventory and face difficult cost decisions as they approach 2026.”

With participation from companies and startups across Europe, Asia, and other global regions in this technology exhibition, Shapiro remarked, “we are extremely satisfied with the show’s international character. It’s crucial for the advancement of innovation and for humanity that global cooperation in innovation thrives.”
