AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar raised concerns about Gandhi’s visit to Germany during the current winter session of Parliament.
“Didn’t anyone inform the LoP that he could use Google Meet to connect with his NRI Congress prabharis in Germany rather than completely missing the winter session?,” she stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Is this casual absenteeism a result of enlightenment, or merely a tactic to keep India ensnared in a BJP vs Congress narrative?” Kakkar questioned.
SP leader questions Rahul’s leadership
SP leader IP Singh echoed similar thoughts, questioning why Gandhi assumed the role of Leader of the Opposition if he was not “serious” about political affairs in the country.
“While Parliament is in session, the Leader of the Opposition is off on foreign trips. Everyone knows how seriously RG treats the country’s politics,” he posted on X in Hindi.
“Rahul Baba, why did you become the Leader of the Opposition if you weren’t going to take it seriously? You embark on foreign trips every month,” he continued.
The politician further remarked that politics is not a quick endeavor but a form of penance.
