OnePlus 13s Debuts on June 5: How to Tune In and What to Anticipate from the Sleek Flagship

OnePlus 13s rumored to be priced approximately ₹55,000 in India
OnePlus is poised to reveal the OnePlus 13s, its inaugural compact flagship smartphone, during a virtual launch event scheduled for today at 12 pm.

The event will be streamed live on the OnePlus India YouTube channel.

Here’s what we can anticipate leading up to the official announcement.
The OnePlus 13s showcases a 6.32-inch display, significantly smaller than the approximately 6.8-inch screens found on the OnePlus 13 and 13R.

Internally, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. OnePlus suggests it might be the most budget-friendly smartphone in India to feature this premium-grade chipset.

The 13s introduces OnePlus AI, featuring the innovative Plus Key — a customizable hardware button that enables users to activate frequently used functions or AI tools. Additionally, the phone is equipped with Plus Mind, an AI assistant that intelligently gathers and organizes on-screen information through contextual awareness.

OnePlus has also committed to future software updates that will enhance AI capabilities, including VoiceScribe, Call Assistant, and AI Translation, positioning the 13s as not merely a compact flagship, but a productivity juggernaut.

At just 8.15mm thick and weighing 185g, the OnePlus 13s will be available in three color variants — Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and a Green Silk exclusive to India, inspired by the olive tree and crafted with a new “Velvet Glass” finish for a soft-touch, premium experience.

For photography, OnePlus claims that the 13s is equipped with a 32MP front camera. While not officially confirmed, rumors indicate that it will feature a 50MP main sensor in a rear dual-camera arrangement.

The device will also house a robust 6,260 mAh battery, larger than that found in the flagship OnePlus 13.

Where to watch

The OnePlus 13s launch event is set to go live on the OnePlus India YouTube channel at 12 noon IST on June 5, 2025.
