HCLTech teams up with UiPath to speed up worldwide implementation of autonomous automation.
On Monday (May 2), IT services firm HCLTech Ltd announced a strategic alliance with UiPath, a frontrunner in agentic automation, aimed at enhancing agentic automation for UiPath’s global clientele.

This partnership will catalyze extensive transformation for enterprises across various sectors, fostering more intelligent and self-sufficient business operations that demand minimal human intervention.

HCLTech plans to utilize its AI capabilities to implement the UiPath Platform, facilitating autonomous operations in finance, supply chain, procurement, customer service, marketing, and human resources.

To support this collaboration, HCLTech will provide pre-configured AI agents and controls, ensuring smooth deployment and scalability. The partnership is set to enhance business agility, optimize workforce efficiency, and deliver quicker returns on investments in business process automation for global enterprises.

Furthermore, HCLTech will set up an AI lab with UiPath in India to create industry-focused Repeatable Solutions (IFRS) and MVPs for the complete automation lifecycle, spanning strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization. HCLTech will employ its global delivery model to assist UiPath customers in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Ashim Gupta, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at UiPath, remarked, “As we enter a new era with agentic AI, agentic automation will be crucial for providing businesses with the speed and agility necessary to transform operations and unlock new business opportunities.”

Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd closed at ₹1,631.80, decreasing by ₹5.75, or 0.35%, on the BSE.
