Watch Zach Allen’s podcast interview with Chris Long

Denver Broncos defensive lineman Zach Allen recently went on the Green Light with Chris Long podcast to discuss his All-Pro selection (and Pro Bowl snub) after totaling 40 quarterback hits, 8.5 sacks, one safety and one pass breakup last fall.

Other topics included playing under coach Sean Payton, which Broncos offensive linemen is the best in the NFL, “silent assassin” cornerback Pat Surtain, a throwback Lamar Jackson story, Allen’s take on the team’s throwback uniforms and more. You can watch the full interview below:

Allen, 27, is entering the final year of his contract, and he will presumably be a top priority for the Broncos to extend in the coming months.

Long, a second overall pick in the 2008 NFL draft, played for three teams during his 11-year career. He totaled 70 sacks and won two Super Bowls before hanging up his cleats and transitioning to podcasting.

Green Light with Chris Long is a production of Yote House Media.
