ESPN says Steelers staring down 0-6 after schedule release

The NFL did the Pittsburgh Steelers no favors with the start of the 2025 schedule. Pittsburgh got stuck with a bye in week five and some brutal defenses in the way. You add in the fact that the Steelers are in big trouble at the quarterback position and things could get off to a rocky start.

This is what ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky thinks. In talking about the Steelers schedule and concerns over having Mason Rudolph at quarterback, Orlovsky said the quiet part out loud about how bad things could get for the Steelers in a hurry.

“I think you are staring 0-6 in the face,” Orlovsky said. Fellow analyst Louis Riddick took a moment to break down the brutal run of defenses the Steelers and Rudolph are going to face. Pittsburgh hasn’t closed the door on signing veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers to help boost the offense.
