Vadra expressed that instead of offering an apology, the PM was “busy making silly videos,” thanking people for increasing their friends on Instagram. “It’s absurd at this moment. It’s absurd. He is accountable for young children being on the streets across India. He is accountable for them being targeted with pellet guns as if they are terrorists,” she stated to reporters in Wayanad.
“He (PM Modi) is responsible,” she affirmed, emphasizing that he must answer to the nation. ”He needs to appear in Parliament. He must implement the changes the students are demanding,” she added.

Vadra indicated that the PM’s promise of stronger legislation was insufficient since the system has collapsed. ”The only course of action is to step outside the current system. This requires the PM to exhibit determination, courage, accountability, and leadership,” she mentioned.
”Leadership entails that if his minister is accountable and 152 papers have leaked right under his watch, he should dismiss that minister — that is what leadership looks like,” she explained. ”There is a lack of leadership from Narendra Modi — all we see are weak excuses and oppression,” the Congress MP asserted.
