LTTS Introduces AI Platform to Assist Industries in Digitizing Engineering Data
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) unveiled Ainfonix 4.0 on Tuesday, June 30, a platform powered by artificial intelligence that assists process industry firms in converting engineering documents and technical records into structured digital data.

The engineering intelligence platform is designed to tackle a persistent issue faced by industrial enterprises, where engineering knowledge is often fragmented across various drawings, specifications, and technical documents, complicating its application in AI, automation, and digital transformation efforts.

According to LTTS, Ainfonix 4.0 converts engineering artifacts and multi-modal data into organized, asset-linked information that can be easily searched, managed, and reused across engineering, operations, and maintenance sectors. The platform utilizes AI-driven data extraction combined with human validation to enhance data quality and traceability.
The company reported that initial deployments of the platform have achieved accuracy rates of up to 85% in technical data extraction, cut down artifact retrieval and review times by 30% to 50%, and ensured audit-ready traceability.

Addressing the issues of disconnected engineering systems, Amit Chadha, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LTTS, stated, “Ainfonix 4.0 helps bridge that gap by converting engineering information into structured, asset-linked intelligence applicable throughout the asset lifecycle—from engineering and project execution to operations and maintenance.”

Chadha also noted that the company believes reliable engineering data will become “a critical competitive advantage” as organizations increasingly integrate AI into their industrial operations.

The company’s shares finished 0.33% higher at ₹3,140 on the NSE on Tuesday.
