In an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18, Goldberg emphasized India’s significance as one of NetSuite’s crucial markets, stating that the company is enhancing its footprint in the region.
“India holds immense importance. It’s such a vibrant market,” Goldberg remarked when asked about the country’s role in the company’s growth strategy.
“Absolutely,” he affirmed when questioned on whether NetSuite aimed to intensify its efforts and expand in India.
Goldberg mentioned that India is poised to cultivate numerous successful entrepreneurial ventures, fueled by a culture that promotes innovation and business development.
“I’m confident that many remarkable entrepreneurial companies will emerge here, starting from someone coding through a few late nights. India is such an entrepreneurial society,” he stated.
The company already has data centres operating in India and is experiencing rapid growth within the country, he added.
“There are already outstanding companies here, and our experience has been exceptional. That’s why we’ve established data centres in India, and we’re seeing rapid growth in the region,” Goldberg said.
He pointed out that each market has its distinct needs, highlighting that India poses specific challenges related to compliance and regulation.
“Every region has its own intricacies, and India has many, especially in terms of compliance,” he explained.
Goldberg noted that NetSuite has dedicated years to automating these processes and anticipates that artificial intelligence will further enhance the company’s capacity to adjust products as regulations shift.
“These are the types of processes we’ve been automating for years, and with AI, we’ll be able to execute them even more effectively. We’ll be able to swiftly adapt NetSuite as regulations evolve,” he shared.
The executive mentioned that the company aims to keep collaborating closely with Indian entrepreneurs and businesses as they grow.
“We will continue to partner with entrepreneurial organizations that are destined to achieve great success. Hopefully, we’ll play a modest role in that journey,” Goldberg added.
Goldberg, who established NetSuite almost three decades ago, affirmed that India remains pivotal to the company’s long-term goals as the nation continues to generate new businesses and technology-driven enterprises.
