The airline indicated that these new routes aim to enhance regional air travel, especially towards industrial and port-connected areas.
Mundra stands out as one of Gujarat’s vital logistics and trade hubs.
According to the updated schedule, Star Air will provide direct flights linking Mundra with Mumbai, Hindon (Delhi NCR), Goa, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nanded, with varying frequencies throughout the week.
The Mumbai–Mundra route will feature multiple flights weekly, while services to Hindon will operate three times a week. Additionally, flights connecting Mundra with Goa and Surat will run several times a week, catering to both weekday and weekend travel needs.
Besides direct connections, the airline will provide one-stop services through Mundra, linking cities such as Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Belagavi via hubs including Goa and Mumbai. These services are designed to incorporate smaller cities into more extensive domestic routes.
Simran Singh Tiwana, CEO of Star Air, noted that the inclusion of new destinations signifies their commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and better access between smaller cities and major urban centres.
With this growth, Mundra joins Star Air’s expanding domestic network, which emphasizes regional routes across western and southern India.
