Dish TV Narrows Q4 Loss to ₹303.95 Crore Amidst Revenue Decline
Dish TV India Ltd, a direct-to-home satellite television content distribution platform, announced on Tuesday that its consolidated net loss for the March quarter of FY26 has narrowed to ₹303.95 crore.

In the same period last year, the company reported a net loss of ₹402.19 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

For the March quarter of FY26, revenue from operations decreased by 29.27% to ₹243.07 crore, compared to ₹343.66 crore during the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
“Performance this quarter has been affected by various external and macroeconomic challenges, such as increasing competition from OTT and digital platforms, changing consumer viewing habits, ongoing inflation impacting spending, and continued currency depreciation, all of which have influenced the operating environment and overall business performance,” Dish TV noted in its earnings statement.

The company remains committed to enhancing platform expansion, improving operational efficiencies, engaging consumers, and bolstering hybrid entertainment capabilities, it added.

In the December quarter, Dish TV’s subscription revenues reached ₹156.3 crore, reflecting a decrease of 47.19%.

Total expenses for Dish TV amounted to ₹484.34 crore, representing a 16.1% increase in the fourth quarter of FY26.

The total income for the March quarter was ₹253.87 crore, down 27.53% year-on-year.

CEO Manoj Dobhal stated that consumer preferences are increasingly shifting towards more connected and integrated entertainment experiences across various screens and platforms.

“Throughout the quarter, we made strategic advancements by expanding our VZY Smart TV portfolio and strengthening industry relationships through Content India 2026,” he remarked.

For the full FY26, Dish TV’s net loss increased to ₹807.39 crore, with total consolidated revenue reported at ₹1,191.98 crore, down 25.21% for the financial year ending March 2026.

On Tuesday, shares of Dish TV India Ltd closed at ₹3.38 on BSE, down 3.15% from the previous closing price.
