An official confirmed on Friday that two Indian mountaineers, who reached the summit of Everest, have died during their descent. The climbers have been named as Arun Kumar Tiwari and Sandeep Are.

Two Indians die while descending from Everest summit, says official
The two Indian climbers who reached Everest’s summit have tragically died while descending, according to an official report on Friday.

The climbers, Arun Kumar Tiwari and Sandeep Are, reportedly reached the summit on different days, with Are making it to the top on Wednesday and Tiwari on Thursday around 5:30 PM, as noted by Rishi Bhandari, secretary general of the Expedition Operators Association of Nepal.
Despite the guides’ efforts, they were unable to save them. Are died on Thursday, and the exact time of Tiwari’s death remains unclear. More information is awaited.
