Rajnath Singh Holds Meeting with Chinese Defence Minister Dong Jun in Bishkek During SCO Gatherings
On Tuesday (April 29), Defence Minister Rajnath Singh engaged in discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Dong Jun, at a multilateral conclave in Bishkek.

The two ministers reportedly assessed the overall scenario along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

“It was a pleasure to connect with Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun during the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meeting in Bishkek,” Singh shared on social media.
No official details have emerged regarding the outcomes of the talks between Singh and Dong.

The defence minister also had a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Andrei Belousov.

“Had a great interaction with Russian Defence Minister, Andrei Belousov during the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meet in Bishkek,” Singh stated.

Singh arrived in Kyrgyzstan’s capital on Monday (April 27) to participate in the defence ministers’ conclave of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states.
