The images depict the device next to a dummy unit of Apple’s current flagship, the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Importantly, the rumored iPhone 18 Pro series device seems to maintain a familiar aesthetic, albeit with some minor updates.
iPhone 18 Pro series and iPhone Ultra design leak
The latest leak was brought to light by tech YouTuber Vadim Yuryev on his channel Max Tech on X. Yuryev shared images of dummy units for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a rumored iPhone Ultra, indicating that the upcoming Pro lineup might closely resemble last year’s models.

According to Yuryev, the iPhone 18 Pro series will carry over the design language introduced with previous Pro models, though with noticeably thicker camera modules. The images suggest a slightly enlarged rectangular camera plateau, with the black glass covering the cameras protruding further than before.
He also mentioned that the total thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, including the camera plateau, was 11.23mm, which may increase to 11.54mm on the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max. Furthermore, the overall thickness, including the camera bump—which was previously 12.92mm—might rise to about 13.77mm on the new model.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: Expected specifications
Both devices are expected to sport LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED displays, with the iPhone 18 Pro featuring a 6.3-inch screen and the iPhone 18 Pro Max boasting a larger 6.9-inch display. Each device is likely to support a 1Hz–120Hz ProMotion adaptive refresh rate.
Internally, the devices are anticipated to be powered by the A20 Pro chip, allegedly constructed on TSMC’s 2nm process, coupled with 12GB of RAM.
Regarding cameras, both models are likely to include a 48MP primary sensor with a variable aperture, though the Pro Max might feature a larger sensor. They are also expected to have a 48MP tetraprism telephoto lens providing 5x optical zoom, along with an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is expected to be 24MP on both models.
Rumors also indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro Max could house the largest battery ever in an iPhone, with a capacity of around 5,100–5,200mAh. Additionally, both models may feature under-display Face ID technology and support advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi 7 and 5G.
